Ok no, one more day. It seems this week is just crawling by and I want it to be over. I saw the sun briefly yesterday and that in turn made me book my November trip to Hawaii. I need more sun. I need to sit on my deck and just breathe hot air. I guess tanning the ol' legs isn't such a bad idea too. They say we're supposed to have a sunny weekend and that the temps should rise to about +9. Not bad I say but let's get there and we'll chat then. Right now we're sitting pretty at +1 and I don't like it.
All the snow has melted from the HUGEST snow dump of my life and things look plain ass ugly these days. I want pretty, warm things, blooming things, dry things... You know... summer things. Heck I'll even take spring things because I can at least get my garden rolling again.
Ahh the garden, what to do with that this year. Last year we managed to cultivate a small portion of what used to be a massive garden and all that grew were some zucchini, peas and carrots. I also planted corn and cucumbers and pumpkins and none of them grew :( This year I'd like to do some tomatoes, cucumbers (round 2), lettuce, onions and peas again. Can you see where we're going with this, my dream is to have everything for a salad, right at my back door. I guess we'll see.
On Saturday I have a photo shoot.. oh yes that's right, I'm a photographer :) I have a friend coming down from.. I don't even really know where the hell she lives but it's not close, but she's coming down and I'm taking her to my shoot. Nothing says "aww" than doing a maternity shoot for a lady who is minutes away from birthing her first child. And the highlight of it all.... My truck!! I got a new car truck thingy just after New Years and I haven't really been able to drive it far so this is my 1st time where we can chill and enjoy the sweet ass ride.
So until then, please wish warmth upon me and I hope you all can find some too :)

I live in the middle of nowhere silly. I adore your idea for for salad makings at your backdoor. I would love to do that, but strata rules are strata rules, except, a block away, we have a community garden. 40 bucks, and you get your own area to plan, cultivate and grow anything you want!
Can't wait to see you!
